SUGGESTION BOX:
The last incident was not reported to all staff. A suggestion was made to remedy these situations:
In reference to a previous suggestion regarding incident report sharing (see: Incident Report Acknowledgement, Meeting Notes 5/26/2018) and the importance of sharing with staff. The suggestion also goes on to state,
"Many staff members are in the dark about some issues until they have to write a report about the same issue. It would help incident reports become more cohesive and detailed. Staff would also know when to alert the proper authorities. Example: The incidents with the sexual predators. Jacqueline explained that if staff who don't or are unaware of where to look on the G drive would not know what is going on."
Perhaps the original suggestion should have emphasized sharing the physical report (as completed or submitted) in lieu of a verbal retelling.
Procedural example: Staff member notices or is apart of something incident report worthy. That staff member upon completing their incident report submits to HPL Incidents as well as the Stimley Blu email grouping or blog (while still relevant).
Staff members are agreement of the suggested method of incident report sharing.
READY ...SET...BANK!
Stimley Blue Ridge will now offer classes to help the community with financial literacy.
The class will be held on Mondays at 10 AM starting August 6 and will end August 27.
Pat offered to be the facilitator and the Jacqueline the helper. Training will be held next week via conference call.
STAT SHEET
"Please, Please separate the months. When July 31st comes up switch to another sheet for auditing purposes." - Pat
Pat also went on to explain that computer questions are documented as reference questions
Computer Help – 1-on-1: This purpose of this category is to capture how many times we are assisting customers in computer/digital literacy. These encounters will also always be counted under “Reference Questions”.
* “Computer Help 1-on-1” involves the “how”: How do I log on? How do I print? How do I download? How do I set-up a username? How do I set-up an account? This type of question is recorded as “Computer help 1-on-1” and “reference question”.
* Computer-related reference questions would be those associated with “where” or “what”: What’s a good site for recipes? Where’s the online Houston Chronicle? Where’s information on genealogy? This type of question is recorded as a “reference question” only.
Pat also reminded staff that the correct way to read the gate number is observing the
P= I number instead of the P = number.
